Engineering & C5I

Engineers maintain physical readiness of the fleet and its command, control, communications, computers, cyber, and intelligence (C5I) functions.

Healthcare

These officers ensure the delivery of essential health services to active-duty Coast Guard members at base clinics, on temporary deployments, and in remote or challenging environments.

Prevention

Prevention officers exercise Coast Guard authorities to protect the environment, provide security, and prevent casualties to people and property.

Response

Response officers control shore-based assets to save those in distress, enforce maritime laws, and manage disasters.
