Realize, of course, that ACT scores are just one part of the application. The admissions officers in Georgia will also want to see a strong academic record, a winning essay, meaningful extracurricular activities and good letters of recommendation. Some students with strong scores, but an otherwise weak application, may not be accepted; some students with lower scores, but an otherwise much stronger application, may be admitted.
To get a visual idea of this, just click on the "see graph" link for any of the schools. There, you can see how other applicants fared, compared with their GPA and SAT/ACT scores. There might be some students with high grades or scores who were rejected or waitlisted. Likewise, there might be students with lower scores or grades who were accepted. Since most of these colleges have holistic admissions, the admissions offices will take all factors of an application into account. So, even if your scores are lower than the ranges listed here, you still have a chance of being accepted (provided the rest of your application is solid).
